Yellow, and red, and orange, and gold
A blanket for mother earth
Beneath the cold sky and cutting winds
A guilt for Gaia, made in the poets colors

Blue, and grey, and white and green
The colors of the mountainside
The colors of the stone earth temple
The colors of high thin air

Brown, and safron, and black, and brindle
A gleaming pair of eyes from underbrush stares
A beast seen in glimpses
A beast on the prowl
A beast stalking it's prey
A beast death does not stop
